We reported back on October 19th that the last piece of the Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits (“SGWS”) puzzle – coming to terms on pricing – had finally been resolved and we expected a PO in the near future. After many months, yesterday was the day our first PO did arrive.
With the arrival of our initial PO, SGWS is now a distributor customer of James FC Hyde Sorgho Whiskey. We couldn’t be more proud because Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits is “the only comprehensive North American beverage distribution footprint. We now employ more than 20,000 team members, distribute more than 150 million cases of wine and spirits annually across 44 U.S. markets, the District of Columbia, Canada, and the Caribbean.”
For a little known, startup brand (James FC Hyde) with the audacity to set its sights on creating a new whiskey category (Sorgho Whiskey(R)), having SGWS endorse and promote our new and innovative whiskey like no other, through its vast “comprehensive North American distribution footprint” is a huge credibility booster for our effort.
Now it’s up to us to focus like a laser to insure our success in the Nevada market so SGWS is as excited about the relationship as we are. We can and will do all in our power to make it thrive.
